    new basket locations

well obvioulsy 24 i think is a keeper..after my bad drive through the chute i was able to save a par 5 with a nice putt and the long drive champ took a 5 too..i think tah basket is an equalize because shot placement is just as crucial as length..22 i like as well i wanted it to be a more anhyzer shot but you guys obliterated as a nice straight floater..maybe the basket should be near the drop off like ty said drive it past and putt towards the water no the basket so close to water..21 is sort of a novelity although i can make it a long hyzer over the water about 100 feet past where the basket was placed..robert would like to play around the lake and i know thinks its possible..paul i know your time is limited maybe you could come play 18 on morning ad walk around the lake as your opinion is valuable to us all..

    RE: new basket locations

Going around the lake would be a hoot -- a basket or tee up on that sand dune thing would be fun.
The ground around 22 sure seemed like a swamp waiting to happen -- what's it like in the summer time?
I think I would move 22 up and left for the reasons that you mention and additionally it could bring the lake on the left more into play. Disc golf courses are designed by right handed players and they always put the danger on the right because their discs fall to the left -- put the danger on the left and it makes for much more challenging throws. (I know - I've said all this before, but I like to hear myself type . . .)
If that's not the case I still contend that if you reversed basket #2 and threw from the current basket to a basket located where we tee'd from in the icebowl it would be the best water hazard basket in the midatlantic. Woods on the right, length, water on the left -- it could be the twin of Winthrop #5 (I think it's 5).
There's no question that 24 is a great basket -- I wonder if you could push the tee left and forward from where it is to make the right-handed hyser more risky bringing your straight route back into play. I think that if you tweak that tee a little bit by pushing it forward you can entice the young/strong and fearless into trying to get to the basket in 2 -- which would make for some real scoring seperation as some crash and burn . .. . just a thought.

Whatever -- I love playing at Vineland. It's just not that far away. I'll be back.

    Tim and Paul,
I would love to help you with some redesign or optional layouts.  (Play hole 2 backwards.....very interesting)
Nice shooting at the icebowl paul.  I won't hold back so much next time.
I would also like to get your opinions on Stockton.  Let me know when you want to get over there.
