  USDGC (Jersey spot)

  So I have allerted the staff (Jonathan Poole) of our intention to announce the state representative to the USDGC at the Jam on the 24th of August.

  The deadline to pay entry has been moved to the end of August, So not much time for the player named to get their monies in.

  I think we have six or so competitors for the spot. I hope more will try. It's a great honor.

  We have in the past charged $25 for those attemping the role. The money going to the winner to help defray the cost of the event.

  With only six or so trying, should we up the ammount? Try to get sponsors?

  Also each year we sponsor the New Jersey flag on hole 8 at the USDGC.
  Originally Matt took this expense and I am not in a position to fill the cost alone. The Flag sponsorship is only $250.00 and New Jersey has been flying on hole 8 since the start.
